Brief: Aristotle proposed that drama should be thought of in terms of three acts. Plays, he suggested, consist of a beginning, a middle and an end. Using string, produce a visual representation that suggests a beginning, a middle and an end.

Information Design
“You are required to produce a print-based design that reflects your understanding of a visual system and your ability to visualise complex information.
You will be expected to analyse information, categorise it, and establish structures for it.”
I choose to do the BBC Tv-listings. I want it to be a promotional item rather than something for everyday use. Something that will give you an idea of what the channels can offer, but also a graphic pice for you to put on your wall. I choose to do it like this because I love picking up nice leaflets and promotional items from everywhere around me.
Visual Systems
For our first project this year I am supposed to create a visual system. The project is divided into three parts; Hierarchical Systems, Information Design and Visualising Information and Visualising Data.
The aim of the first part is “to give me the opportunity to practice and develop my skills of visualising information and to be able to structure complex information in a systematic and considered way”.
For the first three stages I had limitations and I was only allowed to use a certain amount of styles (typefaces,sizes,weights). The last one is not restricted and I can use as many styles as I want.
